Richard Dodd

Richard Dodd. Thomas Nock Martin Chartered Accountants

What can I do to help you (my specialist knowledge)?

I joined Thomas Nock Martin as a Trainee Accountant in October 2007, after spending 12 years in the Retail Network of Barclays Bank, working at various branches within the Black Country area.

I started studying for my AAT qualification in January 2007 and qualified in August 2009. I then began working towards gaining my ACCA qualification, which I attained in August 2012, achieving first time passes in all exam papers.

What do I do at TNMCA?

My role at Thomas Nock Martin involves the preparation of year end accounts, management accounts, book-keeping and VAT returns. I also have experience of processing monthly and weekly payrolls.

Fascinating Facts

In my spare time I enjoy listening to music, which inspired me to learn to play the guitar.

I once met Robert Plant waiting in a queue for the cash-machine.

During my time at Barclays, I was held at gunpoint for £20!
